 Another top weekend
« Thread Started on Oct 28, 2007, 10:52pm »

This was the absolute business
A classic mountain walk which everyone survived without moaning in nil visibility with a 1000 metres of ascent
This was rough but everone was still smiling all the way through i was well impressed
We're not just peak district ramblers we can do it seriously when we want to so a big cheer to everyone there
Even if that snowdonia park ranger thought we were off our heads
The old braich goch showed us again why this is the best hostel we've ever been to especially being a pub itself
Andy and anne the owners were so chuffed to see us again they let us run the bar ourselves
If you've never been there it's unreal after 12 i did the DJing with mark and we helped ourselves to drinks all night
We paid for them all like and the dancing went on till 3.30 and i even washed all the glasses
I've never been anywhere like it ever
Barmouth on the coast was bloody lovely and i was spot on with my weather forecast sunday we actually saw some really nice views pity the bridge was shut
And i even got a paddle in the sea again
Ye of little faith of bbc.co.uk/weather
So it was another f*cking classic weekend away
So bung memories on here or ring/text me and i'll sort out a review of the weekend for the next programme

Yes, another excellent weekend.
Thanks Lee for organising things and thanks to Chris for the Barmouth seaside trip.

yes thankyou El Presidente for organsing a great weekend and for Jonny H for doing an excellent job walk leading in terrible conditions and Chris for his seaside trip....

when it comes to the hostel that was great, although self service at the bar was probably a bad idea; beer, gin, whisky, amaretto and tequila is not a good mix - us Tickhill people never know when to stop!

You're going in my report don't worry
No-one needs peggy mitchell when you've got catherine as landlady
I felt like frank butcher
"But peggy, they're my motors" i cried in a cockney rub-a-dub stylie
I haven't laughed so much in my life while the other cocktail drinking people were dancing about
I don't know how i got away with the music that loud but the owners were sound about it all
I've never been so nackered today but it was all worth it
Top top weekend
